This week we are very happy to be joined by Tom Polenzani, Managing Director at Bolton & Company, a regional independent insurance agency based in California.
Tom heads up the dynamic and entrepreneurial sales division at Bolton and shares with us his leadership philosophy that enables Producers to achieve more success and build large portfolios of business.
One of the challenges Tom sees is “getting people to realise how good this job is” when recruiting sales people from outside of the industry. He feels the personal, professional and financial rewards are second to none and it is up to us as an industry to make people aware of the opportunities open to them.
Producers have unlimited earning potential at Bolton, so educating high performing talent on the wealth possibilities for successful sales people is key to acquiring the best performers to the business. They also look for people who have other responsibilities within the community as this often points to a well-rounded person who is respected and trusted.
